The Norman Housing Authority is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We accept applications for Section 8 and Public Housing on Monday and Tuesday only from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

We are currently housing persons who applied in October, 2001 and are updating those who applied in November, 2001.
NORMAN HOUSING AUTHORITY MISSION STATEMENT
Our aim is to ensure safe, decent, and affordable housing; create opportunities for residents' self-sufficiency and economic independence; and assure fiscal integrity by all program participants. In order to achieve this mission, we will:
*Recognize the residents as our ultimate customer *Improve PHA management and service delivery efforts through oversight, assistance, and selective intervention by highly skilled, diagnostic, and results-oriented field personnel *Seek problem-solving partnerships with PHA, resident, community, and government leadership *Efficiently apply limited HUD resources by using risk assessment techniques to focus our oversight efforts
